Harris Williams advised Keensight Capital on their reinvestment in Lisam Systems in order to acquire EcoMundo.

Belgium-based Lisam is a leading global provider of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance management software solutions and services.

Lisam’s acquisition of EcoMundo underscores the strong tailwinds in the EHS sector with investors continuing to deploy capital in the space. This transaction demonstrates our continued strong momentum with clients in the compliance software sector. It was a pleasure to advise Keensight on their reinvestment in Lisam as the company continues to execute on their European expansion strategy.

EcoMundo, based in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, provides EHS regulatory and compliance software solutions and services for chemicals and cosmetics. EcoMundo serves over 650 clients, including international corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, and start-ups, throughout more than 50 countries.

The combination of Lisam and EcoMundo brings together two complementary, best-in-class businesses while allowing Lisam to gain a powerful foothold in the cosmetics vertical.

By integrating EcoMundo’s cosmetic-focused SaaS solutions into its software suite, Lisam will expand their offering beyond chemicals-focused solutions. Additional synergies will also be reached on the chemical-related software front by integrating the offerings of both Lisam and EcoMundo.

Finally, EcoMundo’s six international subsidiaries (e.g., UK, South Korea, India, Italy, Spain, and Canada) will further reinforce Lisam’s global footprint, creating the undisputed global leader in their space.
