Harris Williams advised Aeromed Group on their growth financing raise from MidCap Financial and Gemspring Capital. Aeromed Group is a leading provider of comprehensive supply chain solutions to the global aerospace and defense (A&D) sector. The company delivers advanced inventory management, detailed forecasting, and custom kitting solutions designed to support mission-critical operations.

Investors are attracted to Aeromed Group as they represent one of the few remaining actionable platforms in the A&D specialty distribution space, which is supported by strong fundamental commercial A&D production and aftermarket growth rates.

Aeromed Group focuses on supporting aerospace and defense customers in addressing the most challenging 20% of procurement spend, known as “tail spend,” which is characterized by a high SKU and supplier mix. The company has acquired and integrated eight companies over the last four years.

By investing in Aeromed Group, MidCap Financial and Gemspring Capital are supporting the company’s expenditures in three transformative acquisitions, which double the size of the business and allow them to continue expanding both domestic and international sales channels. The acquisitions add more than 150 employees to the Aeromed Group team and expand the company's capabilities across advanced electronic materials, legacy platform sustainment, and international logistics. Following the transactions, the company will serve customers in more than 70 countries, with an enhanced European presence through Aeromed International.
