Harris Williams advised Highwire, a portfolio company of Summit Partners, on their sale to Veriforce, a portfolio company of Apax Partners. Highwire is a leading provider of safety and financial prequalification and contractor risk management solutions for the U.S. construction and capital projects market.

In an increasingly complex built environment, investors view safety, financial wherewithal, and compliance as critically important and require technology and data-driven solutions that address both contractor risk as well as operational efficiency throughout the construction and asset project lifecycle.

Highwire’s platform is purpose-built for complex construction and facilities risk management. The company’s software solutions and global network combine to offer customers with an intuitive, seamless user experience and unique ability to provide real-time insights into on-the-job safety. Highwire is a trusted provider to highly sophisticated and capital-intensive asset owners and general contractors who are part of the “economies of the future,” including data centers, semiconductor manufacturing, healthcare, and life sciences.

The acquisition of Highwire will expand Veriforce’s supply chain risk management capabilities and deepen their global network footprint in high-growth industries by combining scale, expertise, and complementary offerings to deliver safer, more efficient connections for hiring clients and contractors.

The combined customer base will gain access to a broader network of vetted contractors across more industries, while contractors benefit from increased visibility to hiring organizations worldwide.
